National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day was May 7th and we would like to recognize that with an important message from one of our mentees.
“Our mentors gave us the best advice for school, life at home and other things we talked about. They kept everything to themselves unless it harmed us as an individual and I felt so comfortable talking to them because they were only a few years older than me. Our mentors helped us, taught us and helped us calm down in situations by breathing exercises. They also help with academics if needed. I couldn't ask for a better Mentoring group!”
